Car care explained
What does hydrophobic protection mean?
Hydrophobic describes a surface that resists wetting, causing water to form tighter beads or move away more readily instead of spreading into a flat sheet.
What you can see
On a treated surface, water may form rounded beads or sheet away differently than it does on an untreated surface.
What it does not mean
Water beading does not make a car self-cleaning. Regular washing is still needed to remove road film, dust and bonded contamination.
