Wash before you coat
Coating products work best as the finishing stage of a clean-surface routine. The goal is to remove loose contamination before you spread a finishing product over the paint.
Pre-rinse
Remove loose dirt before contact washing.
Wash carefully
Use a suitable wash product and clean tools, working from cleaner areas toward dirtier areas.
Dry completely
Dry the car before applying a coating spray unless the product directions specifically say otherwise.
